Contents and achievements of this project is as follows:
I) Carrier density reduction in NbON (by Panasonic Corporation)
To synthesize NbON films with lower carrier density, we selected some candidate substrates on which epitaxial growth of NbON by reactive sputtering is possible.
II) Crystallization of Nb3N5 (by Panasonic Corporation)
We conducted preliminary researches about synthesis approaches that enable currently-preparable amorphous Nb3N5 to be crystallized.
III) Technology trend survey for solar hydrogen production (by Panasonic Corporation and Kyoto University)
We discussed the direction of survey about technology trends in this field around the world.
IV) Improvement of reaction efficiency and stability by surface modification.
We conducted preliminary researches about surface modification methods on NbON.
V) Development of highly-efficient porous-Nb-nitride-based photoanodes. (by Kyoto University)
We investigated preparation of NbON particles from Nb2O5 using NH3 stream at high temperatures
VI) Holding of a R&D promotion committee (toward a future national project) (by Panasonic Corporation and Kyoto University)
There is no progress.
