英文要約Title: Research and Development of Innovative High-Thermal-Efficiency Rotating Detonation Engines with Spontaneous-Compression Mechanism (FY2014-FY2015) FY2014 Annual Report

Objective of the present research and development is to demonstrate a rotating detonation engine with a spontaneous-compression mechanism (RDE-SCM).
In the fiscal year H26, we obtained the experimental room (54 m2) only for the RDE-SCM in the aero-mechanics experimental building in Nagoya University.
We also successfully visualized the structure for sustaining the rotating detonation wave propagation in special resolution by the two-plate-type rotating-detonation visualization system exclusively for the RDE-SCM.
We built a computer code for modeling the fluid dynamics in the RDE-SCM and considered the flow field of the mixing region near the injectors of the RDE-SCM.
We contacted US, Canada, and France researchers for discussing about the state-of-the-art technology of the RDE-SCM. We will present an invited talk at AIAA Propulsion and Energy 2015 in next July in US. We helped organizing the special detonation engine sessions in the conference of detonation (ICDERS 2015, UK).
