和文要約本調査は、ヒートポンプシステムの性能評価手法の整備を目的として、昨年度整理した条件設定および計算ツールをブラッシュアップし、性能評価ガイドラインの策定および次年度以降のガイドラインの運用に向けた準備を行ったものである。本報告書の内容は、次世代型ヒートポンプシステム研究委員会での専門的立場からの議論を踏まえつつ実施された。検討内容は、ヒートポンプ性能を評価する指標や評価方法の為のガイドライン(一次案)の作成、ガイドラインの活用先として、「戦略的省エネルギー技術革新プログラム」を想定して、利用場面や利用方法の検討を行った。今後の課題として、本ガイドラインのブラッシュアップに関する課題やヒートポンプ分野における技術開発のあり方等に関する整理を行った。
英文要約The purpose of this report is to develop a performance evaluation method for the heat pump system, and to modify the condition setting and calculation tools that were organized last year, and to prepare for the development of performance evaluation guidelines and the operation of the guidelines of the next fiscal year. During this study, a trial evaluation of heat pump systems under development in the current NEDO project was undertaken, and discussions by experts were conducted in the “Research Committee on Next Generation Heat Pump Systems”. NEDO is the secretariat of the committee, and the summary of the contents of each chapter in this report are summarized as below.

Chapter 1 Objective of this study and study framework
This chapter describes the objective of this study, the study framework and the ways we addressed the above- issues. This study was conducted based on the discussions of the expertise of the members in the “Research Committee on Next Generation Heat Pump Systems”. Under the Committee, the “Heat Pump System Evaluation Methods Working Group” was established to focus on those issues, and Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. was the secretariat.

Chapter 2 Modifying performance evaluation guidelines
Currently in Japan, there are evaluation methods for heat pump units such as APF, but no methods for the evaluation of energy efficiency of the entire heat pump systems., Last year, we chose three from six themes on technology development projects on "Next-generation heat pump system research and development" by NEDO, and carried out the verification tasks and trial of the performance evaluation method of the heat pump system and the calculation tool. Based on the results, we developed the first draft of the performance evaluation guidelines.
This year, for the remaining development themes, we carried out a trial of the performance evaluation method of the system and the calculation tools, and modified the guidelines.

Chapter 3 Preparations for the operation of performance evaluation guidelines
The "Strategic energy-saving innovation program", a technology development project which NEDO is implementing, is one possible usage of this guideline, and we studied how and when to use this.
We aimed to establish a performance evaluation method to be accepted in the international market, and assessed the development status of the international standard on the performance evaluation of the heat pump system.
To develop a heat pump technology in the future, it is important to examine the technical development themes of the heat pump field which should be led by the Japanese government, in addition to improving the quality assessment techniques of the heat pump system. Therefore, we searched for the themes for new technical developments, .while considering the changes of the environment surrounding the heat pump.

Chapter 4 Future Challenges
As a future agenda, we clarified the issues for improvement of the performance evaluation guidelines and the technical developments in the heat pump field.
