1.Contents and achievements of R&Ds
(1)Preparation for acquisition of the KHK certification for the 150L-class high pressure vessel accumulator, and the storage and transportation system

(A)Situation of overseas compound vessel makers
There is no specific movement from the viewpoint of catering for Japan at Lincoln or at Faber. However at LUXFER, there seems to be a movement to cater for Japan.

(B)Movement in domestic regulations
As for regulation for compound vessel accumulators, on September 29th, 2014, “technical document in relation to compound pressure vessel for compressed hydrogen accumulators” was stipulated, a standard was established for material, design, process, structure and examination of pressure vessels that contain compound structure for accumulators used at compressed hydrogen fueling stations. In addition, type 2 is frequently used as accumulator in Europe, there is a five year plan from FY2015 to establish technical standards to enable use of type 2 in Japan as well.

(C) Domestic market of compound vessels
a. Accumulators for hydrogen fueling stations
The plan for 100 locations for FY2013-2015 has achieved 43 locations at the end of FY2014 and most of the accumulators adopted at the locations are type 3. Type 3 are expected to be used in most of the remaining locations, and from price perspective, costs are lowering from the initial price. The price per 1 vessel volume liter is in the middle of JPY 20,000 range, and further cost lowering is expected.

b. Market of simple hydrogen filling facilities
A simple hydrogen filling facility is expected to be emergency dealing facilities for such as running out of gas, and currently a detailed model is being structured and is under verification test. It is thought that detailed legal handling will be established within this or next FY, therefore structuring of actual handling of compound vessels is being investigated.

(2) Type 4 vessel discussion committee
○Change in form of boss part
 >In order to prevent hydrogen gas from going round as much as possible, the form is changed to have joint of metal boss part and resin go around, and to create recess on the surface of the metal boss which prevents hydrogen gas to leak, and moreover, establishment of methods to form such boss part has started.
○Confirming deposit status of resin deposit part
>Parts for examination in deposit part are collected, their status are confirmed via tension test and CT, and deposit conditions, construction management and acceptance criterion are to be established.
