英文要約Study of meta-surface, meta-material of mass production methods

In developing the design method for producing a component having a function based on topology optimization, since it can not be mass-produced and when it is not taking into account the components of mass production, it is difficult to provide economic benefits. The developed is examined at the same time mass production method and develop a design approach, advance the development of the design method in consideration of mass production.
This year, as well as explore the mass production method of meta-surfaces and meta-materials, was manufactured a test sample of functional components based on the topology optimization. Moreover, the tested process micromachining required to represent the Meta surfaces and meta-materials, considering mass production method was confirmed.

Prototype of meta-surface

In developing the design method of the added components to function by meta-surfaces, unless the development of the design method in consideration of the method of production, since the design method can not be mass-produced be established, in advance in the development I was considering how of mass production.
This year I was tested for the development of mass production methods of parts that are feature added by meta-surface.
As production method of the component having meta-surfaces, it is considering the following methods.

1 Injection molding of a mold that is fine processing has been subjected to express the function of meta-surface
2 Metal stamping Injection molding of a mold that is fine processing has been subjected to express the function of meta-surface
3 Method of expressing the function of the meta-surface coating by removing the coating of the added resin parts
4 Method of expressing the function of the meta-surface coating by removing the coating of the added metal parts
5 Metal stamping in mold function is micro-fabrication expressing was decorated by the meta-surface
6 Resin molding at mold function is micro-fabrication expressing was decorated by the meta-surface

To express the function of the meta-surfaces to control the heat flux, high thermal conductivity metal is assumed parts added to the resin, it was tried to manufacture in mass production method 3.

As construction method, I thought the "prototype plate manufacturing method". Also I using laser ablation for micro-fabrication, I have attached a "laser ablation".

I was able to add the pattern in the nickel to ABS. In the next step, to consider whether to close the shape and curved surface on the product can be added the meta-surface.

Manufacturing of prototype moldings mold

We for shaping the parts added meta-surface, to produce a mold that can be molded to close molded article basic curved shapes and products used in the fabrication of prototype articles.

Thereafter, we molded samples for meta-surfaces tested using the mold.

Examination of mass production method of meta-material

In developing the design method functionality added parts by meta-material, of the consideration for methods of mass production methods to be developed, because it can not be mass-produced by design method is established and the pre-production process in the development I'm studying.
This year I was tested prototype for the development of mass production methods of parts that have been features added by the meta-material.

2 injection molding in the mold micro-fabrication has been subjected to express the function of meta-material
3 and filled with another material in the recess of the metal parts with a with an uneven expressing meta-material features
