英文要約Title: Research and development of High-Powered GPR including a chirp radar to investigate the cavity and the settlement of the back-fill material (FY2014-FY2016) FY2014 Annual Report

 This project is a plan for 3 years from 2014 to 2016. The aim of the project is the following passage.
1. High-Powered GPR have an ability to detect the chronological cavity on the back surface of the gravity type quay wall and the sheet pile quay wall.
(High-Powered GPR records the vertical position of the 10 centimeters precision below the residual water level around the soil under the pavement.)
2. High-Powered GPR have an ability to detect the chronological settlement of the back-fill material on the back surface of the gravity type quay wall and the sheet pile quay wall.
(High-Powered GPR records the vertical position of the 10cm precision that is the settlement of the back-fill material below the residual water level around the soil.)
This research using the vehicle traction type GPR for reinforced concrete is the first required subject. The field demonstration experiment was confirmed the following fundamental ability around Daikokufutou in 2014.
We detected one place of anomaly thought to be the cavity on the back surface of the sheet pile quay wall P2 that is 130 meters in length. The research by handy dynamic cone penetrometer confirmed the cavity. High-Powered GPR using the frequency from 50MHz to 800MHz detected the clearest response. The periodical inspection in 2012 was not able to discover this cavity.
We detected one place of anomaly thought to be the boundary of the back-fill material on the back surface of the gravity type quay wall P1 that is 160 meters in length. The research by handy dynamic cone penetrometer confirmed the surface of reflection thought to be back-fill material. High-Powered GPR using the frequency from 50MHz to 800MHz detected the clearest response. In addition, this research was not able to detect the vertical boundary of the response thought to be the settlement of the back-fill material.
This research using multichannel GPR for reinforced concrete is the second required subject. The field demonstration experiment was confirmed the following fundamental ability around Daikokufutou in 2014.
We detected one place of anomaly thought to be the cavity under the reinforced concrete apron on the back surface of the sheet pile quay wall P1 that is 160 meters in length. This research by electric drilling confirmed the cavity. The periodical inspection in 2012 was not able to discover this cavity.
