英文要約Title: Research and Development of Bridge Inspection Robot equipped with the sound Camera

 This report is the abstract of "research and development of bridge inspection robot equipped with the sound camera" that four companies and Nagoya University carried out as the commissioned research from NEDO in 2014.
A purpose of this research is to downsize the sound camera, which is the system to visualize sound information: direction, frequency and sound pressure level of a sound source. Another purpose is to develop the robot which can travel on.

Kumagai Gumi Co., Ltd., Mobile Robot Research Co. LTD., OYOtech. Co. Ltd., TOKYO ELECTRON DEVICE LTD., Nagoya University have been jointly developing this system.
The results of research of this year are as follows.

1) Development of the small directivity sound camera
* Development of the directivity sound camera which is unaffected by the reflection sound from the back of the bridge
* Development of the small sound camera mountable on a mobile robot
* Development of the pan head mechanism to catch the outbreak direction of the abnormal noise exactly

2) Development of the mobile robot equipped with the sound camera
* Enforcement of the basic design of the permanent magnet wheel type robot equipped with the directivity sound camera

3) Analysis about the relationship between deterioration degree and outbreak sound by the reproduction examination of the fatigue crack of the bridge joint
* Collection of acoustic features of the damaged steel finger joint
* Sound analysis of the injured joint
