英文要約Title: Research and Development for Imaging Measurement System for Infrastructure Using Phase Analysis Method (FY2014-FY2018) FY2014 Annual Report

In 2014, the main activity of our project was the investigation of the possibility of the conventional sampling moire method applied to the displacement measurement and the rotation angle measurement. The developments of a new algorithm to measure the 3D displacement and a new algorithm to measure displacement without using any grating patterns were started. A trial production of a special horizontally long camera for horizontally long structures such as a bridge and a trial production of a calibration system were carried out. An investigation for the standardization of our proposed method was carried out. The details are as follows.

1. Investigation of the possibility of the conventional sampling moire method for railway bridges
The displacements of railway bridges used for a bullet train and an ordinary train were measured with enough good accuracy from a practical standpoint. The measured rotation angle of a railway bridge using "bearing plate shoe" for bullet train was measured with less than 2/10000 rad. The measured rotation angle of a prestressed concrete bridge was measured with less than 1/10000 rad. The displacement measurement and the rotation angle measurement using a sampling moire method were compared with a conventional displacement measurement system 'I-DAP' and a measurement method using dial gauges, respectively. The results showed that the measured results using the sampling moire method had a high correlation with these conventional methods.

2. Investigation of the possibility of the conventional sampling moire method for general structures
Experiments of the measurement using the sampling moire method for a concrete road bridge and a steel road bridge were carried out. The measured results obtained with the sampling moire method were compared with a displacement meter, a vibration meter and an acceleration meter. Now, the results are analyzed.

3. Development of a new algorithm to measure the 3D displacement and to measure displacement without using any grating patterns
An algorithm to measure 3D displacement using multiple cameras was developed. The principle was confirmed with an experimental result. An algorithm using Fourier transform to measure displacement without using any grating patterns was proposed. An experimental result to measure displacement in a laboratory shows a good result.

4. Development of hardware
A trial production of a special horizontally long camera with 5120 x 640 pixels for horizontally long structures such as a bridge and a trial production of a calibration system were carried out. An experimentation and evaluation system for proposed new algorithms were planned.

5. Investigation for the standardization
Investigation for a possibility and the procedures of the registration for the standardization of JSNDI was carried out. Our proposed method has possibility to be registered on a database system of NETIS (New Technology Information System).
