Research and development of the unmanned ground and aerial compound type robot system for the disaster investigation includes:
1. Development of the remote control and half autonomy unmanned ground investigation platform vehicle system

(2) Development of the unmanned ground investigation platform vehicle with an arm for the non-leveling of ground movement
2. Development of the remote control and half autonomy unmanned aerial investigation platform vehicle system
(3) Development of the unmanned aerial investigation platform vehicle and the interface for the operation
(4) Development of the arrival and departure device for the mooring type aerial platform
3. Development of the visualization software of the disaster investigation information and the disaster information database
(5) Development of the three-dimensional visualization software of the geographic information
(6) Development of the analysis technology of the geological survey information

The result of this research and development includes:
(1) Development of the unmanned ground investigation platform vehicle and the interface for the operation
: We made and inspected a program movement function of the ground platform vehicle using the GPS and the operation function by the PC interface.
: We developed a prototype vehicle. (8km per an hour, 250 kg in weight)
(2) Development of the unmanned ground investigation platform vehicle with an arm for the non-leveling of ground movement
: We developed a winder of the aerial platform vehicle.
: We designed a prototype vehicle.
(3) Development of the unmanned aerial investigation platform vehicle and the interface for the operation
: We developed a medium-sized plane. (Flying range 10km, Wind velocity 10m/s-resistant)
: We developed a large-sized plane. (More than 5 kg of payloads)
(4) Development of the arrival and departure device for the mooring type aerial platform
: We developed the winder. (more than two hours operation at altitude of 15m)
: We developed remote control for the bread / tilt / zoom function of the camera.
(5) Development of the three-dimensional visualization software of the geographic information
: We developed the 3D visualization software. (measurement accuracy 10cm)
(6) Development of the analysis technology of the geological survey information
: We designed the geological survey handling and analysis software.
: We evaluated the soil properties of matter measurement probe.
