英文要約Item A: Database to integrate infrastructure management data including sensing data
We analyzed the existing road maintenance information management system and conducted the following:
(1)We focused on an inspection plan from infrastructure maintenance operations, and implemented a prototype system to support the operations, using graph-based database and PostGIS.
(2)We concluded that date and location (geographical data) were the most useful keys for an integrated search from multiple databases.
(3)We implemented the integrated management of two databases used in the operational flow. We designed an integrated data model based on RDF, and a draft of road management vocabulary, and a specification of application interface.
(4)We analyzed the cause of delays when displaying multimedia data in the existing system. We adjusted screen and image size, volume and frequency of data transmission, and method of display. We evaluated the impact on delay.

Item B: Data cleansing, annotation, and processing technology
We analyzed the existing system and conducted the following:
(1)We extracted specific examples such as missing data or fluctuations in notation.
(2)We surveyed filter technology for sensor data, text mining, data management methods, and tools for these technologies.
(3)We reviewed the segmentation and structuring methods to access to the multimedia data using the entry date and location as keys.
(4)We developed and implemented a similar image search function using image features, and data analysis technology. We confirmed its effectiveness against data in the system.

Item C: User interface to validate the data analysis and application
We surveyed the functions necessary to validate the results of Items A and B, and the functions necessary for their deployment to local government bodies. We designed an interactive UI including GIS, drawing displays, refinement of deformation, and similarity search. We developed a prototype system providing some of those functions, and confirmed their effectiveness.

Item D: Method for utilizing open data from road management information
We surveyed methods for the collaboration among relevant institutions and citizens through open data in the case of a disaster or accident. We extracted open data that serve as valuable infrastructure management data. We reviewed licenses and publication policies for open data by referring to existing activities of the central government and local government bodies.

Item E: Implementation of organizations and systems for database management
We analyzed and summarized the issues involved in utilizing data from infrastructure maintenance management operations. Specifically, we clarified the issues of work flows in the various processes, issues of data processing order and handling organizations. Also, we clarified the structure and relationship among data, requirements for data freshness, and missing data in the database for the maintenance operations.
