英文要約Title: A Feasibility study project for a wave overtopping type wave power generation system.

The function for which this system is asked is the reservation of the safety of a structure body and a power generation system to the billow of 50-year probability, and it can be said from a viewpoint of a wave-proof structure that it is a similar structure of a breakwater. Moreover, structure adopts the gravity-type which resists wave power by prudence of a structure, and it can be said from structure form that a gravity-type breakwater is similar.
It is thought that the wave force calculation formula (a Goda formula) for which building frame is used with the usual gravity-type breakwater which is premising that the front face of a body is erection since the body front part forms a slant face is inapplicable. Therefore, the wave force calculation formula used by superior slope caisson-type dike was used for calculation of wave force which acts on this building frame. In this wave force calculation formula, it multiplies by the correction factor which took into consideration the angle of a slant face and the depth of water of the toe-of-slope end to the wave force computed by Goda formula. It is thought that it has reliability as a calculation formula of wave force which acts on this building frame. From the result of the above, it’s concluded that the safety is secured.
About examination of social demand characteristics: As a result of study, at this moment, We resulted the Omaezaki harbor is more feasible than the Sagarahirata harbor.
Examination of the economic efficiency: The quantity of mean generation (generation efficiency is included) of Omaezaki is 0.685 (kW/m). The trial calculation of an annual electrical power output was 1,200MWh made from the expected value of the production of electricity obtained so much by power-plant 200 m in width and the trial calculation of generating cost at Omaezaki is 99.25 (yen/kWh). However, as follows, the appropriate place can be selected at the time of industrialization, and the generating cost (39.2 yen/(kWh)) of a target can be attained by performing optimal design and placement at the certain ocean place such as Sakata harbor.
