a) Experimental Researches for Offshore Wind Power Generation System, 1) The actual measurements and analysis values of strain were comparative studied. The stability of the substructure was studied. 2) The characteristic of the data for the tower and substructure was evaluated. 3) The structural analysis was carried out on DLC (Design Load Cases of winds and waves). 4) To evaluate the wave load due to non-linearity of wave, wave pressure measured by the wave meter was analyzed. 5) To minimize the number of boring survey, verification of geophysical prospecting in the wide range of the area was carried out. 6) To evaluate the performance of salt preventing ventilation system, salinity measurement was carried out in the nacelle. Simultaneously, the condition of the dust free filter and the salt free filter was inspected. 7) The performance of the wind turbine generator was verified. b) Development of O&M of Offshore Wind Power Generation System, 1) Conditioning monitoring system for main component (generator, bearing, transformer, etc.) is being operated from FY2013. 2) To shorten the period of recovery from failure, the validity of additional monitoring system was studied. 3) To grasp the actual O&M for offshore wind turbine, results of all activities were recorded. And protection pieces on marine cable were installed. 4) To analyze the lightning on offshore, lightings measured by the measuring system were analyzed. 5) To evaluate accessibility, the wave prediction system was verified. Access results were inspected to improve the evaluation criteria and safety. c) Environmental impact study: Fish, bird, finless porpoise “sunameri”, water quality and bottom material quality were monitored under the operation condition of the wind turbine generator to evaluate the impact on marine life. At the same time, Fish-gathering effect around the support structure was carried out by divers and using interval cameras.
