In the NEDOspecial courses, activities of personal training on the RTM (Robot Technology Middleware) and development of RTM tool were conducted under the following three categories, i.e. i) Human Resources Developments, ii) Personal Interaction and iii) Related Researches summarized below.i) Human Resources Developments:1 Construction of RTM user’s network: The RTM human network was organized. It consists of 17 members including 1)COE of the company, 2) experts, 3) robot researchers, 4) collage of technology, 5) robot users, 6) university members, 7) designers and artists.
2Discussion of personal training material and activities: Making use of opportunities of domestic academic conferences, keen discussion and opinion exchange were conducted on 1)the state of the art of robot education and educational material, 2) its future and desirable direction and material of robot systematic education. As for the actual RTM personal training, the summer champ for beginners was conducted in Tsukuba.3Personal training material development and execution base on it: Personal training was organized based on the developed personal training material in December as shown in 6. The opportunity of Japan Robot Week2014 was utilized for better understanding of industrial robots. In addition to this, establishing a new social organization was tried in Sagamihara-city.
4Education of system engineer: the SysML was utilized to describe the robot system model and generated related software from the model. The system integration method based on this technology was educated to cultivate the system engineers in Meijo-university.ii) Activities of Personal Interaction:4Maintenance of RTM platform: To stimulate the wide usage of RTM, maintenance of RTM platform and activities to widen public relationship was tried.5International Activities: To establish international standard of RTC(RT component), the member of the project attended the technical meeting of international standard consortiums of OMG( Object Management Group). The specification of UCM (extension of RTM technology to genera object model) was organized to make wider use of RTM.6Update of Robopedia: The presented slides in 2meeting, slides of each member on the state of the art of RTMactivities was added to “ Robopedia“ to update the web page.iii) Related Researches:7Development of personal training material and training activities for industrial robot(by Saitama-University):Personal training material for beginners of introducing the industrial robot to small and medium sized factory was developed and introductory training course was held in the Tokyo-metropolitan industrial research center in December. Persons from small / medium sized company including software-house were participated to learn on the association software of ORiN-RTM cooperation.
