1. Content and result etc. of research and development 1.1 Investigation of characteristic change factor on wavelength conversion function of the dressed-photon-assisted front film Six kinds of the front film samples with a different composition were made, and the absorbance and the excitation spectrum were evaluated. As a result, the front film has the wavelength conversion function that converts ultraviolet light into visible light that is sensitive wavelength for the crystal silicon solar cell. In addition, this function can be controlled by composition. 1.2 Photoelectric conversion characteristic of solar cell that mounted the dressed-photon-assisted front film Two sample with and without the front film on the substrate was prepared, and each comparative study was done. As a result, the conversion efficiency was 14.6% in the sample which there was the front film in whereas that of the sample without the front film was 13.6%. It was revealed that conversion efficiency improved +1% by implementing a film. 1.3 Industrialization scenario of the dressed-photon-assisted front film 1.3.1 Opinion concerning the front film of enterprise related to solar cell and enterprise related to front film The opinion about the front film of each company is to want to adopt it even immediately if we could realize two points of the next. The conversion efficiency of the front film realize +0.5%. The price of the front film realize 400 yen/m2 (80 yen/Wp equivalency). 1.3.2 Prospective price trend The module sales price of the crystal silicon solar cell falls on 60-80 yen/Wp as of January, 2014. It is thought that the solar-cell manufacturer is in the direction where further reduction in costs will be demanded in the future. 1.3.3 Cost trial calculation of the front film a) Cost trial calculation of the front film It is supposed that we produce the front film on 1 batch 500 L scale. About the cost of materials, the forecast by each material manufacturer was adopted. From a trial calculation result, it was revealed that the cost per 10mL when we produced it was estimated at 300 yen by 1 batch 500L scale. b) Estimate of watt unit price (yen/Wp) Based on a trial calculation result of a), we add profit of 100 yen and set sales price to 400 yen/m2. Then the watt unit price of the front film is estimated at 40 yen /Wp. This price is understood that there was competitiveness enough for module sales price 60-80 yen/Wp of the present crystal silicon solar cell. 1.3.4 Industrialization scenario of the front film a) The front film is made for trial purposes with NPO in FY2015 - FY2016 after this project ends, and the sample is shipped. We do the aim of the conversion efficiency of the front film and the sales price with +1.0% and 800 yen/m2 each. b) The front film manufacturing is external consigned in FY2017 and we undertake an enterprise. We do the aim of the conversion efficiency of the front film and the sales price with +1.0% and 400 yen/m2 each. c) The front film that reflected the effect of mass production in FY2018 is turned on. We do the aim of the conversion efficiency of the front film and the sales price with +1.0% and 300 yen/m2 each.
