英文要約Title: Development of New Energy / Research and Development of Offshore Wind Power Generation Technology / Experimental Researches for Offshore Metrological Observation System (Kitakyushu) (FY2009-FY2016) FY2015 Annual Report

A) Establishment of offshore wind observation system, 1. Formulation of meteorological-marine interaction analysis system, 3) Evaluation and verification of meteorological-marine interaction analysis system: Customization of the meteorological-marine interaction analysis system was carried out based on the result of the system calibration using actual data. B) Investigation of meteorological and marine condition, 2. Investigation of meteorological condition, 5) Evaluation of character of wind: Wind shear, turbulence and seasonal variation were evaluated by the measured data more than three-year from October 2012. 6) Evaluation of measurement method: The validity of measured data and the acquisition rate were investigated. 7) Improvement of offshore wind simulation and potential estimation technique: The accuracy of wind simulation by the meteorological-marine interaction analysis system was evaluated by multi-year simulation of the system. 8) Study for enhancement of utilization of LIDAR: Study for feasibility of wind turbine power performance evaluation by using wind data measured by LIDAR was carried out. The result of comparison between the hub-height wind speed and the equivalent wind speed calculated from LIDAR data was found, that the difference was enlarged in case of the high wind shear condition. 9) Measurement and evaluation of wakes by LIDAR: the plan of measurement of wakes and the spec of LIDAR were determined, 3. Investigation of marine condition, 4) Evaluation of character of wave: To evaluate the character of offshore wave of Kitakyushu city, wave monitoring by wave meter was continued from October 2012. E) Maintenance of meteorological tower: O&M of the metrological tower was continued from October 2012. Consultation regarding maintenance of the tower was carried out with participants. F) Summarization of the design of meteorological observation system, 1) Summarization of the simulation: Meteorological-marine interaction analysis system was studied continuously. 2) Summarization of the design of system: Observation system, power supply system and miscellaneous items were studied. G) Environmental impact analysis, 1) Ecosystem impact analysis: Ecosystem impact analysis was carried out. Birds were monitored by theodolite and GPS logger. Monitoring of a finless porpoise “sunameri” by using the underwater sound probing system was carried out all year. H) Other studies, 2) Fish-gathering effect analysis: Fish-gathering effect around the support structure was carried out by divers and using interval cameras.
