FY2014 Annual Report

We started the research project to develop effective CO2 recovery and recycle technology with creation of biomimmetic supramolecular nano-space. Stability of the supramolecular materials were improved by introducing particular atoms into the porous material molecule. As a result, the molecule assembly was highly stabilized, which should be come from the increased intermolecular charge transfer interaction. Also, selectivity for CO2 was developed with controlling the surface and shape of pores in the structure, giving 10 times CO2 selectivity against other gases. Enzymes related with CO2 as a substrate were research and analyzed by searching published papers, and we have obtained design indexes for biomimmetic nano-space. Means of immobilization was developed for the porous supramolecular material, followed by finding of suitable polymers for surrounding immobilization of crystals.
