Theme 1 Validation of Efficiency on EVs Driving Behavior by Deployment of Quick Chargers
[1]Deployment of Quick Charging Stations (NNA).
(1)Negotiation underway with potential site hosts aiming at the deployment completion within 2016.
(2)Agreed on the milestone of the Service Operation Kick-Off Ceremony in the suburbs of Sacramento in October 2016 with government-related organizations in California. The schedule will be altered depends on the deployment progress status
(3)Selected and placed an order for BTC Dual Quick Chargers (CHAdeMO and SAE Combo)
[2]Effect Analysis of Promotion Strategy of Charging Facility Utilization for EV Driving Behavior (NML)
(1)Investigating gasoline vehicle behavior data in the demonstration areas as a comparison to EVs
(2)Sorting the existing data and discussing with University of California, Davis for the attribute survey of the existing EV users in the demonstration areas.
[3]Project Announcement for Promotion (NML / NNA /KG).
(1)Project name “e-ARC(Electric Advanced Recharging Corridor)” was agreed among related parties including Government of California. Trademark search will be conduct and then the logo design.
(2)Agreement with Government of California to try to make an announcement of the project by cooperating with the government-related organizations such as California Travel and Tourism Commission.
Theme 2 Validation of Building Business Model Regarding EVs in California and Intercity Quick Chargers  
[4]Completed the custom design, development and functional testing for core functions of Charging Station Navigation Service, and the alpha application testing including external service connections (API for NissanConnect CSP Server, REST API for NRG eVgo quick charger networks). (NNA)
[5]Expansion of EV Navigation System. Completed local alpha testing in March 2016, the internal testing is expected to start in April 2016. (NNA)
[6]Business Model Validation. Studied service contents of Charging Station Navigation, Trip Planner and Remote Vehicle Condition Monitoring Service, analyzed competitors, considered sales revenue and cost plans and investigated technology trends to create draft business models. Regarding Charging Station Operation Management Support Service, basic simulation analysis of optimal quick charging stations location in Northern California regions has been completed and now we are preparing for the proposal of evaluation to assumed customers in California (KG).
[7]Consideration of Possible External Factors on the Project such as OBD-II devices (KG)
[8]Cooperation with Relevant Organizations through regular meetings with Government of California and local partners. (NML / NNA /KG)
