英文要約1. Safety evaluations of hydrogen container for vehicles
(JARI) One of the topics of HFCV GTR Phase 2 is a study of appropriate burst pressure of the container. As a demonstration test, we began an evaluation of degradation and variability due to hydraulic durability test of HFCV GTR. An other topics is an evaluation method of hydrogen compatibility. To obtain the evaluation data, we introduced a material testing apparatus capable evaluated under high pressure hydrogen and low temperature environment.
2. International harmonization
(JARI)Main topics of HFCV GTR phase 2 include consideration of 1) appropriate burst pressure and 2) hydrogen compatibility and 3) an evaluation method of stress corrosion cracking of aluminum alloys. We conducted the deliberation of these issues in the domestic deliberation organizations by industry-academia-government collaboration. As a result, we obtained the agreement of the test plans and consideration scenarios for these topics.
3. Material evaluation and test method development of aluminum alloy
(Ibaraki Univ.)Humid-Gas Stress Corrosion Cracking (HG-SCC) test was performed on 6000 series aluminum alloys with different Mg, Si and Cu contents at 25℃ with a relative humidity of 90%, under a constant displacement condition where initial stress intensity factor was 0.056R (MPa√m) (R: 0.2% proof stress in MPa). Alloys with excess Si without Cu addition had poor HG-SCC resistance.
(UACJ) The effects of Mg, Si, Cu amounts in 6000 series alloys on the HE and SCC and IGC and HG-SCC resistance. The result of tests, there were no influence of Mg, Si, Cu amounts on the HE and SCC resistance. The IGC depth was increased with Cu and excess Si amounts. And the HG-SCC resistance of high excess Si and Cu-less alloy was lower.
(NLM) The effects of the Si content on various characteristics were examined by using four types of extruded Al-Mg-Si-Cu-Mn-Cr alloy specimens. These specimens exhibited different microstructures, tensile strength, and chip segmentation behaviors after T6 heat treatment. These results were attributed to the interaction of the amount of second phase particles and solid-solute Mn and Cr with changes in the Si content.
(Kobe Steel) In fiscal 2014, the influence of the Mg and Si amount on the IGC and SCC resistance of 6069 and 6066 was investigated. In fiscal 2015, it was continuously investigated, with an additional influence of the Cu amount. With the combination of the Mg and Si amount used in this test, it seems to be necessary to decrease it to about 0.3 wt% in order to satisfy the technical standards.
(Samtech) We produced a 70MPaTYPE3 container using the 6061 material, and carried out conformity assessment as a vehicle-mounted container. The burst test and the drop test by KHKS0128 was carried out as a basic performance evaluation. It was also carried out hydraulic durability test of HFCV GTR. From the above test, the container was confirmed suitability as a vehicle container.
