b4-2) “the security personnel training” in Strategic Innovation Promotion program (SIP)/Cyber-Security for Critical Infrastructure"

Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech)

Cyber-security is one of the important problems to success 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Not only vulnerability of information and control system but also inappropriate actions of personnel are cyber-threats. Our research groups in Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) will develop the security personnel training programs for critical infra structures.

1) User review from an Electric Power Company
We had a visit from one cyber security official of an Electric Power Company in NITech. We discussed about the defense against the cyber-attacks to electric power systems.
2) Research of cyber-security trainings
In the Control system Security Center (CSSC), two days cyber-security training course for chemical industries were held. We participated it. In CSSC, the practices for electricity and the gas had been held, and Tomomi Aoyama has participated them, too.
3) Nagoya Institute of Technology Control Systems Cyber-Security Workshop
We held control systems cyber security workshop with 48 participants except the staffs of NITech (7 from electricity power companies, 13 from chemical industries, 13 from instrumentation companies, 4 from information system companies, 4 from other kinds of industries, 7 from gov-ernment offices and police).
4) Development of administration systems for cyber-security training
In the last two months in 2015 fiscal year, the large size 4K displays, a 4K projector, superior servers with the high graphic ability, a notebook PC for practice participants and the tablets to develop the administration systems for cyber-security training. This system can help the com-munication between participants and behaviors in the practice can be recorded and analyzed.

This project is pushed forward while cooperating with Keio University team in charge of theme b4-1. Our first joint meeting was held on March 16th and we will hold a meeting in two months.
