The following were done in 2015 fiscal year.
・ The low cost single-layer CNT was bought from Nihonzeon Co.. The decentralized liquid that uniformly adhered and got the single-layer Carbon nanotubes was made, and the electrode was made for trial purposes by five methods in 2015 fiscal year. As for promising, it has been understood that there is useful process of manufacturing.
・ It was multi-times impregnation method and one-time impregnation method.
・ Other methods are the methods of thinning beating the method and single-layer CNT film that spreads single-layer CNT paste on the collection electrode further, and the methods of rolling out the paste.
・ We searched for the possibility respectively repeating making for trial purposes. As a result, it has been understood that the performance is inferior compared with the above-mentioned two methods.
・ Moreover, materials of electrolyte, the separator, and the collection electrode, etc. were selected, and the collection electrode adopted Toryal-carbo (Orient aluminum) that put the carbon on aluminum.
・ Single-layer CNT capacitor element was made for trial purposes examining shape and the structure of the electrode, and it was experimentally confirmed that it has an energy density of 60-80Wh/L。
・ It turned out to be able to achieve a large-scale power device with the single-layer Carbon nanotubes. Because it was understood that the Carbon nanotubes capacitor was able to use even the large-scale power device from small chip parts for a wide area by this methods for the energy accumulation and the resurrection electric power absorption etc. It seems that the application range will expand epochally in the future.
・ Moreover, when the method of suppressing the degradation was designed and it experimented. It had turned out for structural deterioration of the above-mentioned unwoven cloth to cause the longevity of the CNT capacitor.
・ The price of the CNT capacitor element consists of seven yen a farad for the cost now.
・ A possible thing was examined by simplifying of the process of manufacture and simplifying equipment about the strategy that decreased to about five yen on the assumption of single-layer CNT price cutting. It seems that there is a prospect because the situation advanced by single-layer CNT price cutting.
・ The evaluation test subcontracted a part of the electron microscope observation and the performance examination to an external organization.
・ Moreover, necessary part material and the jig were bought, and the sample was made.
・ The application range will expand epochally in the future.
