In current manufacturing process of airframe composite parts needs a lot of working hours and huge investment in facilities. The purpose of this research is to establish the innovative composite cured method which realizes cost saving and increase speed more than the current method by establish the basis of technologies that replace autoclave as non-contact composite heating by electromagnetic field, and replace Debulking/Bagging as compaction head concept. To solve the following three technical subjects are the main targets of this research. (1) To establish high speed cured technology which can heat entire part uniformly. (2) To develop the compaction head concept by material which has electromagnetic wave permeability / shielding properties with using properties of electric or magnetic field. (3) To establish the manufacturing method of micro conductor (Metal nanocoil) for mass production. In 2015, basic data acquisitions of following four subjects were performed to solve the above targets. 1) Basic properties evaluation of magnetic field heating. To confirm the effect of temperature elevation on thermoplastic composite by magnetic field heating, the magnetic field generator with high frequency oscillator and coil was prepared, and evaluated the effect of temperature elevation of the carbon fiber / PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) resin thermoplastic fabric prepreg lamina, and its laminate by test. Temperature of test piece during test was checked by thermography. By test results, temperature elevation was confirmed in both fabric prepreg lamina and laminate. 2) Basic properties evaluation of electric field heating. To confirm the effect of temperature elevation on thermoplastic composite by electric field heating, the electric field generator with high frequency oscillator and electrode was prepared, and evaluated the effect of temperature elevation of film which has dispersed micro conductor(calls PEEK-film). By test results, temperature elevation by electric field was confirmed on PEEK-film. 3) Basic properties evaluation of composite cured method. Because applying specific heating and pressure at the same time is needed to cure composite, investigation of the method which can apply pressure and magnetic field at the same time was performed. In 2015, investigation about required pressurization for forming was performed with using phenol plate in pressurized area. By test results, rough standard pressurization for forming was defined. 4) Investigation for manufacturing method for mass production of micro conductor which become electric field heat source. To establish the mass production method of the micro conductor which has not been established yet, investigation about increasing in size of manufacturing instrument and efficiently manufacturing process was performed.
