We have been researching to develop photovoltaic and solar thermal hybrid concentration system and getting some results as follows. We have simulated mirror structure of low concentration photovoltaic system by ray trace simulation and we can design the system structure that have uniform insolation in solar receiver.
Furthermore, we can simulate angular distribution of incident light to the receiver.
And also, we have constructed compact type low concentration photovoltaic system tracking by one axis rotation and we can demonstrate system operation in the laboratory. Moreover, we have successfully fabricated the hetero-junction silicon solar module for low concentration photovoltaic system whose length is around 2 meter.
