英文要約Title: Development of Advanced PEFC Utilization Technologies /Development of Fundamental Technologies for PEFC Promotion /Highly-Coupled Analysis of Phenomena in MEA and its Constituents and Evaluation of Cell Performance/

The aim of this project is to develop the technology which analyze the factor to the loss and degradation of fuel cell in microstructure, process of microstructure formation, materials property, and physical phenomenon retrospectively, then to clarify the factor that controls a phenomenon such as the loss generation and degradation, and to support the technology development in the industries with deploying the developed technology and knowledge extensively. The research development agenda needed under the subtopics of A-D were set-up. A is to establish the design fundamental technology based on the analysis of performance expression and degradation mechanism of Electrocatalysis, B is to establish the design fundamental technology based on the analysis of performance expression and degradation mechanism of electrolyte material, C is to establish the design fundamental technology based on the analysis of performance expression and degradation mechanism on MEA, D is to establish and deploy the research development of the evaluation and analytical method of FC cell. The research and development for each agenda was advanced in the system such as dividing the research development in cooperation with the institutions having the seasoned knowledge in each technology, and commoditizing these knowledge, furthermore, arranging the advisory meeting to reflect the requests from industry as needed.
 In Subtopic A, B and C, we focused on improving the equipment and testing measurability for the new analytical method that contributes to the phenomenon analysis under the practical use condition. In Subtopic D, the study for the further required high performance-adapted evaluation and analytical method for FC cell are proceeded based on an already established cell evaluation analysis protocol. About the scheme of technological support for evaluation and analysis of MEA and materials by NEDO beamline specialized for fuel cell “BL36XU” was arranged and set the measurement plan in the first half of FY 2016. We have enhanced to expand the gains already made through the communication among the researchers of industry and the researchers of university, research institute at the “FC-Cubic Technology Exchange Conference”.
