A summary outcome of research projects is described as below:

(1) Development of noise reduction
 Target of noise reduction under this developing scheme was “6dB” and “12dB” noise reduction could be achieved under stationary condition by means of four techniques among six techniques to be applicable. It is expected that this noise level is categorized as the range of Ultra Low Noise Construction Machinery which at least 6dB noise reduction from noise level of Low Noise Construction Machinery is required. “Stationary condition” means the guideline of sound measurement which Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism determines the propriety of Low Noise Construction Machinery, and to operate only the engine at max. RPM.

(2)Development of automated control
 Automated control application was developed and basic operation using pre-assembled drill rig component was carried out outdoors.
