1.The contents and the result of research
(1) Feasibility studies to produce the HPCC
(1)-1 Consideration of material of mouthpiece and the contact part of O ring
Continuing from previous year, the quality of the material of the contact part of O ring was examined. For this part, we adopted a PA6 that is harder than PE and conducted a Cup Test. As a result, we cleared the fatigue test of 270,000 times without replacing O ring and 400,000 times with exchange of O ring.
(1)-2 Establishment of the non-destructive examination in the heat fusion part of a liner and a mouthpiece block.
Continuing from previous year, we conducted a verification to detect defects in the heat fusion parts of liner and mouthpiece block. The defects can detect certainly with an echo wave form. Using this result, the testing machine was specifically selected.

(2) Trial production and evaluation of a small size HPCC (30L) and medium size HPCC (100L).
(2)-1 Gas permeability test of a small HPCC with He gas
A permeability test of HPCC using a single layer liner was performed with 70 MPa of He gas. As a result, the quantity of gas permeability of the 106MPa conversion confirmed is 1.55 cc/h/L, the value is less than the standard value of KHK TD5202.
(2)-2 Increase in efficiency of the CFRP reinforcement layer of a medium-size HPCC
We validated the laminate table efficiently by adapting the CF-FW of new technology established in a small HPCC. As a result, the strength was increased by 20% while keeping the weight of the CFRP layer almost the same.We cleared target pressure (236.2MPa).

(3) Trial production and evaluation of a large size HPCC with a volume of 300L.
(3)-1 Trial production of a large size HPCC.
By new FW technology, the large size HPCC as shown in a picture was made as an experiment.
(3)-2 The bursting test of 100L and 300L (same FW specification), and comparison .
We performed a burst test of 100 L and 300 L at HyTReC and carried out 100 L burst test on our own company. As a result, each burst pressure was in the error range within ±5%. Furthermore, the bursting position was a cylindrical part.

(4) Understanding of the recent trend of Regulations for HPCC and the consideration of ways to conform to the Laws and Regulations.
We attended the section meeting of the HPCC organized by Japan Petroleum Energy Center (JPEC) as observers in addition to seminars and exhibitions on hydrogen technology. Through the above activities, we researched and studied ways to conform to the current regulations for HPCC and the compilation of criteria for them.
