英文要約1. Safety evaluations of hydrogen container for vehicles
1.1 Study on appropriate burst pressure of the container.
(JARI) We evaluate degradation and variability of burst pressure due to hydraulic durability test of HFCV GTR using two types of VH4 containers. As a result, the dispersion of the initial burst pressure (N=10) was within ± 10% for both types. In addition, the burst pressure after the EOL test (N=4) decreased by a few percent from the initial burst pressure.

1.2 Evaluation method of hydrogen material compatibility
(AIST) Test conditions of the hydrogen materials compatibility are discussed. All scheduled SSRT tests in the air of SUS304, SUS316, SUS316L are finished, then the SSRT tests in hydrogen have been started. The fatigue life test of SUS304 in air at the room temperature are finished, and the fatigue life tests in hydrogen were just started.
(Kyushu Univ.) Elongations for an onset of the hydrogen-induced successive crack growth (HISCG), δH, were investigated by using Types 304 and 316L. The values of δH were dependent on stability of austenitic phase and the δH for Type 304 was smaller than that for Type 316L.
(Univ. of Tokyo) The mechanism of hydrogen embrittlement of austenitic stainless steels was considered from a viewpoint of the martensitic transformation. The focus point for new test method was clarified.

2. International harmonization
(JARI) The study status on each technical issues have been discussed in each technical task force and steering committee to establish the test methods. After domestic agreement for each final test method, their test methods will be proposed from Japan in the UN discussion of GTR Phase 2 activities scheduled to commence in 2017.

3. Evaluation method of stress corrosion cracking of aluminum alloys
(Aoyama Gakuin Univ.) The P-increasing test and the D-constant test have been applied for twelve types of aluminum alloys in order to investigate the characteristics of the humid gas stress corrosion cracking (HG-SCC).
(Ibaraki Univ.) A draft of “Standard Test Method for HG-SCC of Aluminum Alloys for Compressed Hydrogen Containers” was prepared. HG-SCC test was performed successively on 6000 series aluminum alloys with different alloy compositions to investigate the effect of the excess Si and Cu addition and the effect of impurity Pb and Bi.
(UACJ) The hot-rolling conditions were confirmed for forming fine grains or rough grains on 6000 series alloys plate containing Mn. The HG-SCC tests were conducted and there was little load reduction during the tests on some 6000 series alloys containing Cu.
(Kobe Steel) 6061-T6 material was manufactured, which alternates the plastic deformation caused by autofrettage processing with the pre-strain caused by tensile deformation.
(NLM) Five Mg/Si balanced and one excess Si Al-Mg-Si alloys with different addition of Pb and Bi were prepared. After T6 treatment, Pb and Bi combined addition alloy showed a lower proof-stress than the other alloys.
