(1) Safety inspection standard for 70MPa Hydrogen Refueling Stations(HRSs)
The following items have been carried out this year to draft a reasonable safety inspection standard for 70MPa HRSs and a safety technical standard for HRSs.
1) Evaluation of safety inspection standards for HRSs
2) Study for standardization of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) method for accumulator
3) Evaluation of safety technical standards for HRSs

(2)The pressure relief devices(PRD) for composite vessel installed in hydrogen trailer

(3)Revision of safety distances for HRSs
The purpose of this study is to propose new safety distances for HRS required by HGSA through evidence based approach.
The following items have been carried out this year;
1) Study of draft technical standard
2) Elucidation of ignition phenomenon of hydrogen jet by experiment and numerical analysis

1. Technical standard for HRSs with cryo pump
The following items have been carried out this year to draft technical standards in HPGSL for HRSs with cryo pump that will be prepared as the favorite model of LH2 storage type HRSs which has already been enforced.
1) The study of the experimental data necessary for the risk assessment
2) To prepare the draft of technical standard for HRSs with cryo pump

2. Acquisition of data to draft technical standards of HRSs with cryo pump
For the purpose of acquiring data for the technical standard of HRSs with cryo pump, the following items have been carried out this fiscal year.
1) The study of experiment for leakage and diffusion of liquid hydrogen, Combustion and explosion experiment
2) The study of practical high-strength materials evaluation examination

(7)Technical standard for small hydrogen supply equipment

(9)Revision of sprinkling facilities standard
The following items have been carried out this year to propose new sprinkling facilities standard for HRS.
1) Implementation of simulation and examination of alternatives

(10) Technical standard for self-service refueling systems at hydrogen stations
The following items have been carried out this year to draft a technical standard for self-service refueling systems at HRSs.
1) Study of the self-service hydrogen filling
2) Investigation of confirmation method of in-vehicle container written matter

(11) The purpose of this study is to collect data necessary for preparation of technical standard draft and to prepare a technical standard in order to add neck mount method to the compressed hydrogen transport car container fastening method.
The following items have been carried out this year;
1) Fabrication of neck mount test frame
2) Analysis and test with neck mount frame

(12) The purpose of this study is to formulate draft technical standards etc. by conducting risk assessment and safety measures necessary to make it possible to install the organic hydride hydrogen production equipment in the same application area as the existing hydrogen stations.
The following items have been carried out this year;
1) Technical investigation of organic hydride hydrogen stations
2) Risk Assessment of organic hydride hydrogen stations
