英文要約Regarding hydrogen stations, it has been desired to establish a practical method regarding a non-destructive inspection for Type III-CFRP pressure vessel in consideration with operation and maintenance of the station. We found that an acoustic emission (AE) as one of the inspection method has relation with fatigue in aluminum alloy which is inner material of the vessel. In addition, a new parameter of AE has developed in order to emphasize acoustic phenomena with the fatigue, which may depend on manufacturing conditions of the vessel. We are trying to enhance the practical method by using AE through getting of more experimental data in order to evaluate the vessel.

In FY2016, fatigue experiments by using test specimens and pressure vessels were executed in consideration with conditions and operations of the stations. As a result of the experiments, similar AE was occurred by fatigue of the material without depending on cycle speed at which pressure is applied. The AE amplitude might be detected even though low cycle speed of the station. It was confirmed that difference of residual compressive stress on the vessels has affected phenomena of AE. Additional experiments under various stress have to be proceeded to clear the phenomena. Operation timing and times regarding hydrogen filling at the station were investigated in order to study applications of the AE inspection in future.

We are going to continue our study by experiments with more AE data in FY2017 in order to develop a practical evaluation method against the fatigue.
