英文要約Title:International Research, Development and Demonstration Projects Co-Funding Project / Japan - Israel R&D Cooperation Project / Research and Development of Autonomous Distributed LTE Communication System for Public Safety

(1)QoS (Quality of Service) control (low latency transmission for voice and video)
QoS control is necessary function for high quality and real-time voice and video traffic in the public safety communication. System level design, detail design and implementation on the actual equipment are completed. Now evaluation is work in progress.

(2)Multicast (simultaneous multi-point data distribution)
Multicast is effective function for high volume data transfer such as live video distribution in the public safety communication to optimize spectrum usage. System level design is completed. Now detail design is work in progress.

(3)Portable LTE system (system in the box)
The potable LTE system is whole in one box solution where all LTE components - base station, core network, application servers, router and battery are accommodated in a ruggedized box. The concept definition, and functions and performance specification have been done. Basic and detail designs, system architecture design, thermal design, mechanism design, electrical design and BOM (bill of Material) - are completed. Design of a new concept for the autonomous distributed communication among the boxes is now work in progress.
The mockup was exhibited as one of 5G solution in Mobile Wireless Congress 2017 in Barcelona on February 2017. Six patent applications have been completed so far.
