英文要約1. Evaluation for the property and safety as the aggregate
A grinding test was carried out on slag B and C. The effectiveness of the "centrifugal self-grinding device" was confirmed as a grinding method. We confirmed that the particle size distribution could be adjusted by the supply amount of slag and the peripheral speed of the grinding machine, and the same particle size distribution as natural sand could be obtained.
In the property test, the basic conditions were 4 t / h of supply rate and 65 m / s circumferential speed, and slag A, B and C sampled from Nakoso’s IGCC showed the same particle size distribution under the same conditions. Aggregate properties and environmental safety evaluation test was conducted on slag B and comparison was made with natural sand and fine aggregate of slag A tested in FY2005.
Slag B fine aggregate could be adjusted to the same particle size distribution with coarse particle rate as natural sand, the density is equal to that of natural sand, and the water absorption rate is sufficiently low.
It was revealed that the Slag B’s chemical content of the fine aggregate and the content and elution of harmful trace substances were similar to those of the slag A fine aggregate, and that the environmental safety was also guaranteed, which was lower than the environmental standard value.
2. Properties evaluation and standardization of the fine aggregate for concrete
Mortar tests were performed on slag A and B. It was found that by replacing part of crushed sand and river sand with slag fine aggregate, fluidity of mortar became large.
As a result, it became clear that the unit water quantity of concrete could be reduced. On the other hand, since the compressive strength and bending strength of the mortar decreases due to the same substitution, it became clear that it was necessary to reduce the W / C by about 8% in the mortar which was 100% substituted.
It was confirmed that the relation of "C / W - compressive strength" of mortar using this slag could be approximated linearly, and it was clarified that it could be applied to general formulation design. In the concrete test, slag B was subjected to a compounding test to determine the detailed test plan.
3. Examination for the use promotion strategy as fine aggregate for concrete
In order to evaluate the stability of the coal gasification molten slag property, the relationship between the slag properties, the coal properties and the gasification conditions and the relation between the grinding conditions and the slag fine aggregate properties were sorted out.
4. Project promotion technology evaluation committee
Evaluation committee was established, consisting of academics related to civil engineering and architecture, construction industry, users of concrete materials such as fresh concrete association, slag generators such as electric power business, and experts on standardization of Japanese standards associations etc.
We held the committee twice, on February 22 and March 22, to receive opinions and advice on the implementation plan and results of this project, and to reflect on the progress and the plan of the project.
