(1) Development of vision sensing systems:
We developed a monocular SLAM system, stereo SLAM with wide range lens and some evaluation boards for next generation onboard system.
(2) Development of an anti-vibration mechanism for sensing camera:
We developed an anti-vibration mechanism for sensing camera to reduce vibration which has an adverse effect on the camera capture image.
(3) Research of sensor trend for distance measurement and collision avoidance:
We researched sensors to get distance and to avoid collision. The sensors are LiDAR, Time of Flight(ToF), Ladar, stereo camera, and so on.
(4) Development of algorithm for collision avoidance:
We developed a collision avoidance algorithm based on the technology performed by conventional airplane.
(5) Development of algorithm for object detection:
We developed a algorithm for object detection to avoid collisions with birds. We used CNN based machine learning to recognize objects as birds.
