New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO)

As part of a NEDO project, a research group involving Toyota Motor Corporation and the Tokyo Institute of Technology discovered superionic conductors with the highest lithium-ion conductivity, leading to the successful development of an all-solid-state battery features more than three times higher than power density compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries.

The research results have been published in the electronic version Nature Energy of the UK-based science journal.
