New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO)
NEDO is launching two new overseas demonstration projects in Asia, aimed at the comprehensive introduction of resource circulation systems and technologies such as recycling solutions. These projects will be implemented in Bangladesh and Myanmar. NEDO will provide policy tools as well as technical and systems know-how to reduce environmental impact based on solutions developed in Japan to promote resource and energy conservation throughout the region and achieve adequate sustainable resource circulation by verifying the efficacy of such solutions.
In addition, in response to the future degradation or lack of resources as well as with future Asian expansion in mind, NEDO will also conduct domestic demonstration research projects around four themes aimed at establishing an advanced resource circulation system in Japan.
