Kickoff Meeting for Newly Established "Healthcare IoT Consortium"
-Aiming to Create a Societal Foundation to Promote Health and Wellness through Personalized Behavioral Change Assistance-

On September 9, the Healthcare IoT Consortium is inaugurated jointly by Hokkaido University, Nuture Networks, Ltd., The University of Tokyo, Hiroshima City University, and IntaSect Communications, Inc., as part of NEDO's Clean Device Promotion Project, which is aimed to create novel applications of innovative electronic devices through demonstration and standardization. The consortium debuted with a kickoff meeting.

The Healthcare IoT Consortium aims to establish the societal foundation for promoting health and wellness through personalized behavioral change assistance by creating systems for individuals to share their own healthcare information of their own free will and on their own authority.
