A New Verification Plant Designed to Generate Power Using Hydrogen Extracted from Aluminum-Based Waste Completed
- Operations launched at facility in Toyama Prefecture -

As part of a NEDO project, Alhytec Inc. has completed a new verification plant designed to generate power using hydrogen extracted from aluminum-based waste and launched operations on April 22. The amount of hydrogen generated at the verification plant will be increased up to approximately 5 kg per hour (a volume equivalent to fuel cell vehicle mileage of approximately 700 km) in the future.

To commemorate the launch of operations, NEDO held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the verification plant on the site of the Asahi Printing Co., Ltd. Toyama Plant on the same day.
