Effectiveness of a New Dialysis System Confirmed Through Testing at a Hospital in Jiangsu Province, China
- Working towards Full-Scale Entry into the Chinese Market with Japan's Unique System -

NEDO has introduced a central dialysis fluid delivery system (CDDS) technology developed in Japan at Nanjing Medical University's Second Affiliated Hospital in Jiangsu Province, China, in collaboration with project contractors including Toray Medical Co., Ltd., Toray Industries, Inc. and Tokyo Women's Medical University. As a result of nine months of demonstration testing, the effectiveness of the system was confirmed as it achieved international standards for stable system operations and dialysis water purification.

From this point, Toray Medical Co., Ltd. will work towards CDDS's full-scale entry into the Chinese market based on the information and knowledge obtained through this demonstration project.
