NEDO, the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA), and Okuji Kensan Corp. today began a demonstration test of wind resistance performance for realizing photovoltaic systems with high structural safety, using the world's largest horizontal-type dynamic wind pressure testing facility at the headquarters plant of Okuji Kensan Corp. (Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture)

In this demonstration, the performance and reliability of the stands for mounting the photovoltaic power generation system will be verified and the project team will aim to develop design guidelines for ground-mounted photovoltaic power systems with enhanced safety and improved economic efficiency based on the results and observations obtained from testing.
