– Will contribute to usage expansion of biomass energy –
September 28, 2017
New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO)
NEDO has published its "Introduction Requirements and Technical Guidelines for Self-Sustaining Regional Systems for Biomass Energy."
These guidelines evaluate the business feasibility of a regionally based, self-sustaining biomass energy system, carefully evaluating the commercial potential of available biomass types (wood, wet, etc.). The document summarizes introduction requirements and technical guidelines, with a highly practical focus.
Going forward, NEDO will contribute to the usage expansion of biomass energy by seeking to ensure these guidelines are widely utilized. It is hoped that they can be used to design business plans for entities that are considering entering the biomass energy sector.
The guidelines will be available for download at the following site beginning on September 28.
