September 14, 2017
New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO)
NEDO will hold the "NEDO Forum 2017" from September through November 2017 in five different locations around Japan (the cities of Kobe, Yonezawa, Nagano, Tsu, and Kumamoto).
In this forum, there will be special lectures by experts and other talks providing information on NEDO's current projects, as well as business case studies highlighting the commercial advantages of NEDO's projects. The forum will be centered around four themes: hydrogen, support systems for startups, IoT, and robotics, each of which is currently drawing increased attention in Japan. Additionally, the forum will provide a joint seminar to introduce available support systems, including NEDO's own support systems, in collaboration with other research and development support entities. It will also provide individual consultations for participants who are considering utilizing these support systems.
Through this forum, NEDO aims to encourage local companies and universities to engage in technology development that will pave the way to the future, and to contribute to revitalizing these regions and invigorating the local economy.
