Kubota Air Conditioner plans to begin selling Compact Desiccant Outdoor Air Ventilation Unit from April 2. It was developed based on NEDO project results. The unit is a compact air conditioner that uses a desiccant to absorb moisture directly from the air. By controlling humidity and temperature separately, it achieves a 30% reduction in energy use compared to conventional air conditioners. Also, since it is intended for use in the renovation of existing buildings, the adsorption block fits perfectly within inside of the air conditioner and the unit can be made compact. This allows it to be installed in ceilings.

Going forward, Kubota Air Conditioner hopes to encourage conversion to net zero energy buildings (ZEB) by popularizing this product for both newly constructed and existing general office buildings.
