Report on NEDO Smart Community Showcase 2018

October 26, 2018

On October 16, NEDO held NEDO Smart Community Showcase 2018 at Vienna, Austria. The Showcase began with a keynote speech by Dr. Gianluca Fulli from the EU Commission addressing smart grid technology in Europe today and the outlook. Following the address, speakers made a presentation on their smart community/smart grid demonstration project from the viewpoint of a project member of both Japan and the demonstration country.

The informative presentations stirred up interest of the audience on the topics and led up to in-depth discussions. Discussions among the presenters and the participants were heated up during the networking session as well, and the session was extended beyond the scheduled time, making the Showcase a great success. Thank you for your participation.

The Showcase's program and presentation slides are now available.
