Call for Participants in the “HMI (Human Machine Interface)” of the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) Automated Driving System/Large-scale Field Operational Tests

The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) of Japan is calling for participants in the "HMI (Human Machine Interface)" of the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) Automated Driving System/ Large-scale Field Operational Tests to be conducted from FY2017. For information concerning conditions of participation, please refer to the "Participation Rules for HMI Field Operational Test" at the bottom of this page. After receiving an application, NEDO will forward a URL to the registered email address at which the applicant can download "Guidelines for Participating in the HMI Field Operational Test".

Conditions Related to Test Participants
Potential test participants include corporations and organizations, excluding local governments, that have corporate status and whose representatives, activities, asset management methods, etc. can be verified based on articles of incorporation. Candidates must be engaged in research and development related to autonomous vehicles and be able to effectively utilize the validation data obtained from HMI field operational tests. Participants must read the full text of the "Participation Rules for HMI Field Operational Test" and agree to them.
