Exchanged Views with Leaders of Pasteur Institute

On May 6, President Kenji Kurata of NEDO visited the Pasteur Institute in Paris, and spoke with Jean Derégnaucourt, Vice President for Research Applications and Industrial Partnerships.

The Pasteur Institute is a one of the world's leading research institutions in the field of biology and medicine, and has produced 10 winners of the Nobel Prize. Since it has produced over 20 venture firms, there was an exchange of views on topics such as efforts to achieve practical application of research results. Vice President Derégnaucourt explained their activities regarding contract research, spin-out formation and post-doctoral employment.
