October 15, 2014

NEDO and the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) have agreed to carry out a feasibility study (FS) on a demonstration project for electric vehicles driving behavior in northern California, and on October 14 a Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed between Executive Director Hiroshi Kuniyoshi of NEDO and Kish Rajan, Director of the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development.

This demonstration project will install direct current (DC) fast chargers along highways and provide innovative services for EV drivers to ease range anxiety, increase intercity trips and promote EV adoption. This project is also expected to contribute to measures to control greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S.
