GSGF To Release Report on Grid Storage Batteries This Fall
June 24, 2015
On June 18, a board meeting was held in Tokyo by the Global Smart Grid Federation (GSGF) (Vice Chair, NEDO Executive Director Hiroshi Kuniyoshi), an international organization of industry promoting the global dissemination of smart grids. It was agreed to release in the fall a report summarizing the findings of the GSGF, to which 18 countries and regions belong, regarding the various technologies which hold the key to smart grid dissemination such as grid storage batteries, power system flexibility, and cyber security.
The plan calls for this report to incorporate examples of actual efforts by each member country, and proposals by industry.
