NEDO and JST Hold Innovation Japan 2019－University Trade Fair and Business Matching Event

On August 29-30, 2019, NEDO and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) jointly held the Innovation Japan 2019-University Trade Fair and Business Matching Event at Tokyo Big Sight.

At the NEDO exhibition area, to promote open innovation, 86 high-profile R&D-based start-ups and small and medium-sized companies supported by NEDO showcased the latest technologies. At the business matching area, exhibitors and visitors actively exchanged information and engaged in business discussions.

At the NEDO exhibition booth, NEDO-certified venture capitalists offered counseling sessions to address start-up concerns, such as the procurement of financing. On the second day, various events took place including a NEDO seminar on the theme of innovation creation by start-ups, a pitch event for J-Startup companies, and an event called "JOIC presents NEDO/JST Dream Pitch & Panel." During the course of the exhibition, many people visited the NEDO exhibition booth, seminar, and pitch presentations.
