英文要約1) The development of toxicological knowledge database: A test version of the retrieval tool for the toxicological knowledge database and the metabolism knowledge database had been developed. The tool has functions to retrieve and to display the data of the repeat dose test reports which had ever been collected in this project. But it also indicates the existence of the toxicity mechanism data or the metabolism data which related to the retrieved chemicals, and each of the data is able to be referred to. In FY2010, the database is going to be updated by including the data of the test reports, the toxicity mechanism data and the metabolism data, which will be continuously collected, and the retrieval tool is going to be improved to fill the requirements by experts of chemical hazard or risk evaluations as the users of the tool. 2) The development of metabolism knowledge database: A scoring model which predicts the positions of the reactions with the drug-metabolizing enzyme CYP2E1 had been developed and improved by the results of some experiments. To support expert judging about the ADME data, the information on the distributions of thirteen drug-metabolizing enzymes (CYPs) in the human body had been searched from published papers and the flowcharts for judging the manners of metabolism for target chemicals based on their fat-solubility had been made out. In FY2010, the database is going to be updated by including the support information, and the scoring model for CYP1A2 is going to be established. Because CYP1A2 is known to show species differences in the reactions, we expect to get more detailed information of the metabolism by the model. 3) Integrated platform for hazard assessment support system: On the retrieval tool for the database, the interfaces to transmit the information between the platform and the tool had been developed. By these interfaces the platform is able to call for the retrieval tool to check the detailed information about the target chemicals and is able to get the subset of the database for the maintenance of it, which is also kept on the platform as the replica for good responses of the systems to predict by the category approach.
