英文要約The object for this project is to unsure and expand newly and higher efficiency generating technology utilizing CMM and VAM from coal mine in China.
It is essential to drainage coal mine gas for Mine Safety.
And methane gas (CH4), of which the greenhouse coefficient is twenty-one times as high as carbon dioxide (CO2), accounts for main composite in the coal mine gas.
There are two type of coal mine gas during coal mining, one is Coal Methane Gas (CMM) which is drained from mine, and the other is called Ventilated Air Methane (VAM) which is discharged as ventilation air so that the concentration of methane is less than one (1) %.
In the world some gas engines are operating with CMM gas as fuel gas.
However, the object for this project is not only higher efficiency but also higher output.
Therefore this project selected Mitsubishi Gas Engine, which called CM-MACH, as prime mover and Laohutai Mine of Fushun Mining Group as a model site after sufficient Feasibility Study.
This project started on Nov. 2008 and has finished performance test on Dec.2009.
At first the test was started carefully not to make misfire at start-up operation, because the methane concentration of CMM is low and fluctuated. But all tests have been finished no misfire and made good combustion through the all operation from initial start-up helping with micro-pilot ignition and combustion diagnosis of the functions for CM-MACH engine.
The electricity generating efficiency has been attained approx.43%. This value is higher than exiting ones.
VAM could be used as intake air instead of fresh air. And the result, CMM consumption could be approx. 10% by the helping of the energy of VAM.
A grand Completion Ceremony has been held on Apr. 2010 after operation training of Laohutai Mine of Fushun Mining Group.
Now on the plant is operating as show-window to spread in China and also it is helping to reduce greenhouse gas and supply electricity for Laohutai Mine of Fushun Mining Group.
