和文要約本報告では,平成17年度~21年度において,水素社会共通基盤整備事業における水素・燃料電池自動車の基準・標準化に係る研究開発の一環として実施した安全試験法に関する研究を報告する.
 70MPa自動車用圧縮水素容器の新基準策定に資するデータを得るため,上・下限圧力,圧力媒体,加圧速度をパラメータとした液圧サイクル試験,極端温度環境下での液圧および水素ガスサイクル試験,水素ガス充填・消費試験,ガス透過試験およびシリーズ試験(使用環境負荷試験)などを行い,Step1(容器の70MPa化と耐久性の適正化など)の策定や,水素充填コネクター構造の標準化提案や水素ステーションでの非通信充填手順の策定に貢献した.一方,車両の安全(UN-ECE/WP29 AC3 HFCV gtrなど)関連では,容器の局所火炎暴露試験策定に資するデータを取得するとともに,水素漏洩引火試験による漏れ許容量の妥当性検証に貢献した.また,複数車両での火災試験や安全弁作動試験により,より安全な水素放出系統の検討に資するとともに,水素・燃料電池自動車の安全な消火救助活動を行う上で必要なデータを取得するため,水素火炎の消炎性調査,消火放水時の容器強度状況,水素火炎規模,液体水素漏洩試験などについて調査し,FCVの安全な消火方法手順の参考資料を完成させた.
英文要約In order to broadly and smoothly disseminate hydrogen and fuel cells to the general public, it is essential to develop soft infrastructure. The review and establishment of laws, codes and standards (C&S), and regulations is particularly important for promoting the widespread use of fuel cell vehicles. This project aims to develop advanced methods to examine and evaluate advanced technologies and products that are necessary to obtain data in order to establish domestic and international technology standards from FY2005-FY2009. This study in this project intends to obtain the basic data necessary for setting safety standards and for relaxing unnecessary regulations in view of performance improvements.
In order to obtain data for setting new safety standards of compressible hydrogen storage at a pressure of 70 MPa, the influence of the upper and lower cyclic pressure, the pressure conductor, the pressurize rates increase by the hydraulic pressure cycle test were carried out. In additionaly, the hydrogen gas cycle test under extreme temperature environments, the fast hydrogen fill test, the permeation test for 70MPa Type4 storage, the continuous load test, an endurance test of the 70MPa hydrogen filling connector were carried out, these data contributed to set new safety standards and to decide on non-communication filling procedure in the hydrogen fuel station.
On the other hand, The following things were executed for the international harmonization of regulations (UN-ECE/WP29 AC3 HFCV gtr etc.). In order to obtain data for research to develop a localized fire test based on real world fire conditions, the vehicle fire tests with hydrogen strorages under various conditions were carried out. Forthermore, the extinguishment test of hydrogen jet flame from activated PRD, the soundness of high pressure tank exposed to discharge water in firefighting and the liquid hydrogen leakage examination, etc. were investigated, and these data serve as a reference for emergency responce of the fuel cell vehicles.
