和文要約「ドイツ国際情報通信技術見本市(以下「CeBIT 2017」という。)」は、ドイツ・ハノーバー市において年1回開催される展示会で、IoT、ビッグデータ、AI・ロボット等の先端技術を活用したITビジネスに特化した世界最大の商談展示会である。

本事業では、本展示会における情報発信等業務を実施し、IoT、ビッグデータ、AI・ロボット等、NEDO が取り組む技術開発の成果を広く紹介することで、欧州研究機関等との連携強化や出展企業のグローバルな事業展開の支援、プロジェクト成果のよりグローバルな出口戦略の構築や日本のプレゼンス向上に資することを目指すものである。

本業務において、「展示物、展示ブース等の企画・設計・監理・制作等業務」、「通関・輸送」、「事務局運営業務」、「広報等情報発信・調査分析業務」を実施することで、「CeBIT 2017」出展に向けた支援業務を行った。また、NEDO事業に関連する出品企業に対しビジネスマッチング等の支援を実施し、IoT等のビジネス展開を支援した。

「CeBIT 2017」の来場者数は、全体来場者数(5日間)20万人以上に対して、NEDOブースは約7,000名が来場し、ジャパン・パビリオンの中でも盛況なブースであった。
また、海外では回収が難しいとされるアンケートは独・英の両表記とも目標数をクリアした。テレビでは、日本のNHK World TVやテレビ東京、海外では独のNDR、Handelsblattなどで放送され、日本経済新聞、日刊工業新聞、yahooニュース、IT pro、MONOist、海外ではDeutsche Welle、Elbe-Jeetzel-Zeitungなど多数のメディアに記事掲載された。

本展示会における成果については、来場者からの展示物への評価も高く、特に日独両首相が訪問したサイバーダイン社のHAL、またテムザック社のRodemについては群を抜いて好評であり、問い合わせだけに留まらず、一部具体的な案件にも発展の見込みのある商談も散見された。
英文要約This document describes the work related to CeBIT, held once a year in Hannover. By broadly displaying various technologies (IoT, Big data, AI and robotics) in which development NEDO has partaken in, the aim was set on stronger bonds between NEDO and European research institutions, to support the individual exhibiting companies establish themselves abroad and that the exhibition would result in a more global presence and establish Japan abroad.

The secretariats central functions are listed down below as follows
Exhibition products, planning and overseeing the construction of the stand
Customs clearance and postal matters
The secretariats’ administrative functions
PR-related information transmission and analyzing gathered data
Business matching for NEDO and its enterprises, publicizing the IoT field to oversea businesses, as well as comprehensively supporting NEDO and its enterprises at a smaller event organized by the state.

General measures included
Planning and designing the stand as well as advancing the presence of NEDO and its exhibiting enterprises. These companies were also aided by the secretariat so that they could deliver on-point explanations and reach wished upon results.
Establishing the secretariat duties, duties concerning the exhibition and carrying out negotiations between both JETRO and the CeBIT Japan Pavilion PR Secretariat. The secretariat was in charge of the production of digital signage, NEDO guidebook as well as organizing flights.
By planning and fulfilling PR-related matters in 3 steps (before, during and after), the fair went successfully. Press Preview was held 1 month before the actual trade fair and the planning took part in two steps. Analyzes for these are being carried out during 2017 (fiscal year). Furthermore, e-tickets and stand-alone newsletters were used to attract more visitors. Online marketing tools (ECMS) and internet press boxes as well as guided tours during the trade fair were used for withal. Media exposure was also planned and controlled.
The secretariat acted as a proxy for the enterprises regarding customs clearance as well as postal matters. Specifically, the secretariat handled receiving and distribution of needed documents, receiving and packaging of the products in Japan, receiving the customer products on-site as well as the needed steps for sending said items back to Japan. Various documents needed for customs clearances were also handled by the secretariat.

By fulfilling the above, a total of 6.608 visited the NEDO stand during March 20-24. All 500 produced surveys were distributed and collected. An extensive media coverage could be noted, which is thought to be a direct result of the above. Japanese television stations such as NHK World TV as well as TV Tokyo could be seen within the stand. Examples of foreign media are NDR, Handelsblatt. Nikkei Asian Review, Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, Yahoo News, ITPro, MONOist as well as the foreign Deutsche Welle, Elbe-Jeetzel-Zeitung posted articles.
